Once upon a time...

our parish web site was filled with pictures of buildings and articles about all our various organisations. Then along came the Corona virus and our buildings had to be closed to all normal church activities. So we have gone on line. As the situation is constantly changing, it is worth taking a regular look at the news pages. We have left up the Services and Organisations pages for those who want to see what we are trying to sustain. The contact pages are as relevant as ever.

It is our hope and our prayer that these difficult times will help us all to see what is really important in our lives, as individuals, as families, as a parish and as members of the wider community.

Getting back to 'church'

We now have permission to return to our church buildings, but this is going to be difficult for all of us. There are many regulations to comply with and the church service that we return to in September will be very different from the services that we love and cherish. We need volunteers to be trained for a variety of new roles (see the news item). Further information on the challenges of returning to 'church' can be found by following this link...

Meanwhile, on-line...

The parish is made up of people, who once used to come together in buildings, but who now meet together on-line. Full details of what we do, when we do it and how the technology works is to be found in our On-Line Services section. The technologically confident can join in at the appointed times by simply clicking on the images below. The rest of us can read the following introductions and follow the "Click here" links.

Make yourself a cuppa, break out the tray bakes and then log in for a relaxed time with friends. You can talk to everyone at once and you can use the chat feature for a private conversation with a close friend. We end with a 'thought for the day' and a short prayer together.
